Stepping stones in water v2
Stepping towards new horizons

There are several levels of mastery within TA: certified transactional analyst, provisional teaching and supervising transactional analyst and ultimately teaching and supervising transactional analyst. The criteria for TA exams are continually updated and can be found at www.eatanews.org or www.itaa-net.org.

One of our main activities is structured support for the TA exam process.

Target group
.
Anyone with more than 2 years TAO training who wants to participate in continuing education or wants to prepare for a TA exam. The exam program is open to all exam candidates at CTA or PTSTA level.

Description activities
.
The program consists of four activities:

  1. Individual supervision: Supervision is an intentional learning process, which takes place in the relationship between a supervisor and supervisee, focussed on the professional development of the supervisee and on the welfare of the supervisees’ client, where both content and process of the supervision is part of the learning process. The higher purpose of supervision is to develop professional wisdom. Within Intact supervision from different teachers and supervisors is readily available.
  2. Advanced supervision groups: The advanced supervision groups give you an opportunity to get supervision, do personal work, discuss theory and give supervised coaching to your colleagues. There are supervision days every few weeks that are attended by both exam candidates and people who want continuous education in their field. The goal is integration of theory into practice and personal and professional development.
  3. Open workshops: The exam process includes workshops on advanced TA. Some workshops in TAO1 or TAO2 are open to everyone.
  4. Exam preparation workshops: Once a year Intact will organize an international CTA and PTSTA workshop in cooperation with other international teachers and supervisors. These workshops offer you an opportunity to:
    • Attend mini-workshops by international teachers and supervisors
    • Get supervision or coaching to support your personal readiness
    • Present your audio tapes and cases for review
    • Do mock exams with an international board
    • Meet and exchange with other international trainees
